Introduction
Nearly 3,000 YourSay Panel members provided feedback on how they would like to keep informed and engaged on the design and introduction of a voluntary assisted dying model in the ACT.
The survey was conducted between 7-21 February 2023.
Findings from the survey indicated high levels of awareness of and interest in learning more about plans relating to voluntary assisted dying in the ACT, along with a desire to find out more about eligibility criteria, processes, and safeguards in place.
The results will help the ACT Government to communicate with and engage the community on this topic as a voluntary assisted dying model in the ACT is developed.
