Making sure everyone's views are heard
We're continuing to learn by piloting new approaches, listening to experiences of Canberrans and seeking advice to strengthen our relationship and improve your engagement experience.
A dedicated team is now;
- coordinating all projects and initiatives that need your views
- listening to each engagement activity to ensure your views reach the right areas of government
- advocating for your to ensure government 'closes the loop' and gives you feedback on how your views, time and energy contributed to decisions or outcomes.
At the start of the year we wanted to hear from you about your engagement experiences with the ACT Government by taking a survey.
We're working through your comments, questions, experiences and ideas and we'll provide a consultation report here to show you what we heard.
We are getting ready for a city which will be home to 500,000 people by 2030. We’re growing rapidly with 7,000 new Canberrans every year.
We’re planning for where Canberrans will live, the schools and hospitals they will need, how they will easily move around the city and adapt to a changing climate.
As our city expands, we want a Canberra that is inclusive, innovative, healthy, smart, active and fun.
A city Canberrans are proud to call home.
Over the coming months and years we’ll be listening to you, asking your opinion, consulting and considering with you the tough issues and great opportunities that lie ahead.
We will make sure you are informed about what government is doing, why we are doing it and how we can support you to enjoy living, working and playing in Canberra.
You can now identify the conversations that matter to you through the Whole of Government Communications and Engagement Strategy.
