National Youth Week is an annual, week-long celebration of young people aged 12–25 throughout Australia. It has been a joint initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments.

In the ACT, National Youth Week is coordinated by the Youth Coalition of the ACT and the ACT Government Youth InterACT team. National Youth Week has historically been held in the first week of April, with events all over Australia, to celebrate and recognise the contribution of young people.

This year, Commonwealth funding for Youth Week ceased on 30 June. So, we want to find out how you want to celebrate Youth Week in Canberra. Here’s your opportunity to share your views, opinions, and thoughts on how we can continue this event. We want to hear from a range of young people living in Canberra, community representatives, and government stakeholders.

You can complete the survey, or get in touch with the Youth InterACT team directly. When completing the survey, you can also indicate your interest in attending a Planning to Celebrate session to be held later this year.
