Introduction

The Heritage survey was completed by over 1,200 Panel members to provide a baseline measure of community attitudes, perceptions and understanding of heritage issues in the ACT.

The survey was conducted between 7-16 July 2023.

The survey explored recall of heritage issues in the ACT, including what specific topics they have heard about and from which channels. Respondents were asked to indicate what type of heritage information they would be most interested in receiving. The survey also measured awareness of the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival and the level of interest to attend this festival in the future. The survey results will be used to inform ongoing communications with the public on heritage issues and events.
